We knew that content creation was going to be key for boosting Tubs Direct’s position in the rankings and so we began working on a content strategy that was informed by extensive keyword research. We wanted to make sure that the web content was relevant, high-quality and easily translatable by search engines.

We also knew that Tubs Direct would be massively benefited by local SEO and so we implemented Google My Business into our content strategy, boosting Tubs Direct’s visibility to local customers making relevant searches; with the goal of landing a spot in the top search results.

The Obstacles

Tubs Direct were struggling to build up an online presence and they wanted a website that would provide a positive user experience, as well as a content strategy that would boost sales. We had some issues with internal pages and broken links, this was inhibiting the user experience and so we had to review these and either remove or replace them to improve the overall performance of the site.

There were also some issues with thin content which is why we wanted to incorporate a lot of long-tail quality content to appease Google and drive in visitors.

The Results

After conducting a full technical audit to assess the health of the website, we got the health score up to 97% and have continued to provide quarterly reports, outlining our progress. Tubs Direct have since seen a 44% increase in online traffic, a 58% increase in conversions and boosted their ROI times 70.
